Yep, vindication is sweeeeeeet!

Sampson has taken a few not so good natured jabs as Eric (Sampson) stated to Triathlete last year that he did not care that the 745 was the absolute sleekest frame in the tunnel. Turns out he wasn’t masking the real truth—that the aero shape of frame is not THE major factor for speed. Even VeloNews finally broke down and gave the real figures for drag on a TT bike, and the frame is not very important from an aero advantage! That’s not to say we are going to square tubes—far from it! The 745 uses fully aero shaped main and head tube, and offers internal cable routing, bulged bb housing for nice air flow. The thin, wide fork and stays slices the wind with the best of them! Don’t think for a second that the 745 isn’t fast-it is a rocket! The Sampson integrated full bike and rider approach that gets you going faster than you may have thought possible!

745 TT FEATURES

Full carbon frame offers huge power! You won’t be wasting one watt of power thanks to the burly bb shell, and massive chain stays.
SAS vibration control makes the 745 exquisitely smooth and quiet. Recent studies show there may be a strong connection to reducing vibration and performance in long events. For triathletes, you go faster on the bike, and have more left for the run.
The 745’s geometry has been developed so that the bike is amazingly stable and predictable, so you don’t weave or travel one foot further than your best line. Sampson has long put handling at the top of the list on all their bikes and this is essential in TT. As the distances increase, you can lose a lot of time to poor handling bikes !
Weight. A lot of the tt bikes are areo, but also porky. Again, power and position trump grams for tt, but you still get an edge when the road goes up. Again, the longer the distance, the more likely weight becomes an edge or adversary! It is easy to get the 745 into the 17 pound range all-in with deep section clinchers, and still be very attractively priced!

Custom options—you get to select the products you want and also the paint! The 745 pricing includes your choice of a single color paint-but you can go wild for a few dollars more! Shimano, Sram, Sampson and Campy are all used and wheels from Hed, Zipp, Edge, Reynolds, Easton, etc. are all options too!
Custom fit and builds. We are happy to work with your favorite fitter to build to your specs, or ship bikes as kits to your local shop if you want to have your bike person work with you on set up. We strongly suggest you work with a good fitter to develop the best balance so you develop your best power and comfort—the REAL secret to going fast!
