There are a lot of good bikes, but to win this arms race, you need better than good! If you want great, your list just became very short! The 2010 Diablo S is the bike that Bicycling Magazine raved over, stating the S is the “Best bike you never heard of”! Now, to escalate the arms race, we introduced the SL on the same frame late last year. All the power, but the weight goes from 15 and change to just over 13—and we do it with some of the most exciting wheels and components around!

What amazed Bicycling and about everyone else with the Diablo S/SL is the ride. No surprise here. As a matter of fact, about every road test of a Sampson gave us great marks for ride! Our SAS vibration control works wonders, so you just don’t feel the cracks, missing chunks and chip-seal. The S/SL bike loves speed-be it a sprint, an uphill TT or a 20 mile descent—so grab one, and go! The Diablo S/SL comes standard with your favorite single color paint, and fancier paint schemes are just a bit extra.
