The Express features Columbus Airplane aluminum tubing, which is made with 7000 series alloy, and then triple butted for exceptionally low weight and high power!  The tubes are extruded in semi-aero shapes, and with some complex curves too!  The Carve carbon stay and Sampson carbon fork provide additional shock dissapation, and provide the responsive handling and control that have made the Express an excellent racer or gran-fondo bike! 

The Express IS the wolf in sheep's clothing!  For just zipping around, the Express is silky smooth, with easy and predicatble handling.  When it is time to rock,  the Express shows it's racing heritage instantly.   Sprints that are without a moment of wind-up, a geometry that offers instant response without being twitchy,  and precise shifts that are helped by the use of beefy, flex-free drop-outs!

From Cat. 1 stage racing to setting new personal records, you simply can't beat the Express for ride, power or value!   A typical Ultegra equipped Express is just grams over 17 pounds, and Force or Stratics SL bikes take almost a pound out of that for not much more money!    Power, comfort and low weight --all for a song!  That is why people are still lovin' the Express!
